Polenta with Kriška cheese
Ingredients
– two handfuls spinach
– 1 litre water
– two teaspoons salt
– 300 g white corn flour
– 200 g Kriška cheese
– 1 ½ tablespoon lard or oil
Preparation
Pour water into a cooking pot to boil, add salt, reduce the temperature, gradually add flour and stir with a mixing spoon. Polenta is cooked when it thickens and starts to separate from the pot. Heat fat (oil) and pour it over polenta. Mix it until consistent. Put crumbled Kriška cheese and finely chopped garlic over polenta.
Serve with a glass of milk. Enjoy your meal!
